Use Case - Caregiver

How we can solve it:

Having a caring circle of friends and family around is essential for a caregiver. The role of caregiving can be emotionally, mentally and physically taxing, which can lead to burnout. Support from loved ones can provide a crucial outlet. Friends and family can help with tasks, offer emotional support and sometimes even step in to give the caregiver a much needed break. A support circle can remind caregivers that they are not alone which in turn will give the caregiver strength to continue providing compassionate care. Here are some of the practical elements your Caring Circle can help coordinate:

  • Meals
  • Transportation to/from appointments
  • Childcare
  • Running Errands (grocery shopping, dry cleaning, picking up medications…)
  • School Pick-up/Drop-off (Note: school/bus must be notified in advance)
  • Household Chores (cleaning, laundry, yard work…)
  • Keeping a loved one company while you take a break
  • Keeping the caregiver company, talking and listening
